our mission:
Fully redesign their restaurant website, menu and add reservations interface.
the client:
Laurent is an up and coming upscale restaurant in New York City. They serve asian-australian fusion cuisine paired with a bar and rooftop terrace perfect for weddings and corporate parties.
PROJECT START:
july 2020
the GOAL:
To allow the restaurant to accept online reservations, along with touchless virtual menus and an easy ordering P.O.S system. Integrate their menu into food delivery apps such as UberEats, Postmates and Doordash.
thE RESULT:
Even though they remain at 25% capacity due to Covid 19, online ordering has been through the roof and their to-go business has been profitable since the site’s launch and platform integration.
PROJECT COMPLETION:
August 2020
WHY IT WORKED:
We were able to find leverage through delivery apps to keep the doors open and integrated an online ordering/catering system in their website that allows patrons to order everything from Ramen bowls to cocktails to go.
Though reservations were not able to be accepted during the pandemic, the online model proved itself profitable and they were able to make more money even though their doors were practically closed.
If it wasn't for their help we would've had to fully shut down. Thank you so much for your help!
